New Armourbase Premium +

The use of an underlayment beneath IKO shingles is an absolute necessity. It provides an essential protection to your wooden roof deck during application in all weather conditions.

IKO has further improved the Armourbase Premium and launched the new version Armourbase Premium +,  an underlayer with a new thermo-activated sticking system on the back which simplifies installation for the roofer.

Your advantages:

Armourbase Premium+ has been designed with the right amount of “stickyness”, so the roofer can easier apply and correct the application on the roof in both hot and cold weather conditions. After application and the thermal effect from the sun on the roof,  you will notice that the underlay sticks very firmly to the roof. This is also proven in laboratory-tests, where the tear resistance was measured to be even stronger than the former Armourbase Premium.

Application lines and a helpful grid on the top surface of the membrane, make the application of IKO shingles on top even more precise.

Peel and stick waterproof multiple layer laminated roofing underlayment consisting of layers of asphalt polymer, a non-woven synthetic fiber (revolutionary!) and HDPE.

This underlay has a long life expectancy and is CE marked.
